Meditations

These days I was exploring some meditation videos on YouTube and of course depending on what you prefer there are many different ones. Tibetian chanting meditation, chakra cleansing, healing, morning, sleep, astral projection induction, third eye opening, kundalini awakening, clearing negativity, motivational.

I won’t go into into details about them in particular, but if you know some basic things about meditation you might already heard all of these.

So here are some of the videos that I find very nice and worth seeing. These are guided meditations, meaning there is a narrator guiding you throughout the experience. But I find them very effective.

This is a long Astral Projection video and I still haven’t done a successful A.P., but I will soon 🙂 With this video I went further than I expected. I did not fall asleep immediately and felt really weird and awesome in the same time. I wanted to keep focused and awake, but couldn’t. Maybe tonight I will succeed 🙂
This one I like to listen to because of the mantras. This repetitive voice calms me down a lot. I don’t know what the mantra is for. It is a good idea to check it out. 🙂
 
Some of the comments bellow about the Kundalini say that it could do harmul if awaken and if do not have the strength to deal with it. I am not sure what this means exactly, but so far I have experience quite a lot of good vibes listening to this meditation.
Chakra Meditation: Balancing and Healing is short but effective and energizes me after listening to it. I feel more stable after it. 
I think this was the first video that managed to get me hooked on Guided Meditations. It was the first one that made me feel ecstatic after I finished it. I mean I couldn’t think of anything bad, everything was going to be ok, it was a really good experience the first and any other time I listened to it.

It is a very nice website on how to meditate. It is available in many languages and the classes are narrated in the language you choose 🙂
I can’t help it and post a link to this awesome book that I got an year ago from Amazon:
It explains really well the essence of meditation and what is it good for. Not only reducing stress, but healing and keeping yourself healthy – body and mind. Explains a lot about awareness and mindfulness.
I think it is a good idea to make a post specifically about Meditation and Mindfulness Books 🙂
